Overall, I was impressed with the attention to detail, the quality of the work and the commitment to customer service (all too often lacking in the trades).The lead carpenter on this job was a real pleasure to work with. Besides being an excellent, highly skilled and motivated worker, he was also extraordinarily respectful of my privacy and with the juggling I would be doing in the morning when he arrived (working out, eating, showering, dog care, and the like).

The office staff was prompt, courteous and very willing to go the extra mile with good communication and follow-up. Lastly, Ozzie qualifies as one of those rare individuals, regardless of profession or trade, who is both technically knowledgeable and customer-savvy. It was a great experience working with a company committed to ‘getting it right’ each and every time.

FDBR performed an excellent job remodeling and renovating our house built in 1908 and bringing it up to modern standards. It was a very large renovation which included remodeling all 4 bathrooms, extending and remodeling the kitchen, removing separating walls, and improving the architectural structure of the house. Ozzie and his team handled all aspects of the job very professionally, beginning with the architectural planning and demolition, down to the smallest details such as the exact placement of the microwave in the kitchen. FDBR also coordinated with the other contractors (painters, window installers, heating and air condition, …) and gave excellent recommendations for tiles, fixtures, and appliances. Needless to say we love living in our house thanks to FDBR.

As first time homeowners that were moving from abroad, we found moving into a large out-dated house very daunting. We were recommended Faros by our realtor and have no regrets with choosing them. Daniel was our project manager, and helped us plan our house remodel in phases that accommodated us as we were moving in. He is very responsive to e-mails and calls. No questions were left unanswered. He definitely has an eye for detail and could sense the style we were going for. Daniel and the Faros team are very accommodating and concientious. They go above and beyond whenever they get the chance.

Since this was our first home, we didn’t have many ideas about the general upkeep and possibilities. Daniel and the Faros team made so many recommendations that we wouldn’t have thought of otherwise – like sealing our ducts, sanding out the old wooden floors, recommendations for tile, etc. They are clearly very experienced and have a large portfolio. In projects in which someone in their team didn’t have experience with, in this case our fireplace, they helped to vet other professionals before inviting them to work on our home. After more than 6 months of work on and off, the inside of the house is barely recognizable. They helped us to create a living space with small children that is bright and airy (and safe). We look forward to speaking to them again about future projects.

We hired Faros to move our laundry upstairs, create a new laundry room from part of the bonus space over the garage, and turn our current laundry room into a mud room. They were very professional, clean, polite-and the end result is perfect. They were very helpful I. The overall design of the room and tolerating all of my changes in the process. They took care of securing all of the proper permits as well.
